Has anyone challenged himself or herself (especially in HoF mode) by playing a 6-pack of off-the-wall multi-class characters (or a specialist mage such as a Necromancer)? A challenging multi-class character might be a Gnome Cleric/Thief--the 17 Wisdom maximum would make you think twice as to which spells you would need to keep on hand! I might try this after I finish the game with my super party (you know...the party that could practically destroy a god).

I don't think that there is any character that hasn't been tried at some point.
My party in HoF were: Paladin Ranger/Cleric Ranger Fighter/Druid Fighter/Mage Fighter/Mage/Thief |
The hardest party I ever did was a three person party where everyone tired to do as many things as posible.
Fighter/Cleric Magic User/Thief Figher/Druid I never quite had enough power for the hard battles it seemed. In particular, Dragons Eye was a total pain in the butt. I would not call that an odd HoF party Mine are generlly the following. Warrior Warrior Fighter/Druid Warrior/Cleric Magic User/Thief Bard Warrior = Fighter or Paladin Warrior/Cleric = Fighter/Cleric or Ranger/Cleric I've gone without the Bard once, kinda missed him, but a pure Magic User might be better. Anyway, I would say 4 or 5 of our guys are really similar. [ 01-11-2003, 02:44 AM: Message edited by: Seraph ] |

My three party was Fighter/Theif Fighter/Druid Fighter/Mage (dualed at level 6 to Mage) I guess the difference was I kind of had three fighters as opposed to two for most of the game. |
