I'm presuming the bridge tour talking about is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen? If so it can be repaired by getting the engineering manual for it from some guy in the libary of the building in the centre of the screen. I can't give you precise directions to the libary, it is underground though. Maybe someone else can help him out here?

If you are at the Wyrm's Tooth Glacier (with the building containing the frozen animals), the engineer manual is held by an escaped slave at the upper left corner of the level where they are hiding. If you have already freed the slaves, the book is lying on the floor.

I do believe his name is seth in the east part of the room. Hope this helps.
