I really want to play an online multiplayer game as I have never done this before. I love IWD and cant stop playing it. I've completed it three times and am just itching to do it again. but I also like to play RPGs and I feel that the multiplayer wbe great. Just think of the banter between the elf player and the dwarf player. The problem is I dont know anyone who has the game and I have noone to play with (sob sob). Please tell me if there is a way to meet people online (sits praying to the monitor).

Funny you should ask, but there is a member of IW called SomeGuy who was looking for an online game of IWD. Try sending him a private message - he might be interested.

sure IWD is great but the multiplayer isn't that fun it's slow to run on network so it'll be really laggy online.It just doesn't work as well as singleplayer as the pause is effectively useless as the other player won't want to pause it.
