Can I import my characters from Baldur's Gate 2 into Icewind Dale 2?

<font color=silver>Larry's right. It is not possible to import BG-series charcters into IWD or vice versa. One might be able to use an editing program like Dalekeeper to reproduce BG characters for use in IWD, however. The problem with game editors is, of course, that the temptation to cheat one's way through the game can become very strong.</font>

<font color=silver>Dalekeeper is a program that allows you to edit saved game files for Icewind Dale. You can download it <a href=http://www.mud-master.com/dalekeeper/index.html>here</a>

This site also has 2 other programs: Gatekeeper which will allow you to edit Baldur's Gate files and Shadowkeeper which will allow you to do the same with BGII files.</font>

You can probably use the editors to recreate stats, but unless you want to custom build BG2 items for IWD2 you will NOT be able to use BG2 items in IWD2.
