I was looking on the the internet when i found some icewind dale cheats and i used them telling myself i was only going to try them, and not use them, and now i cant stop using them.....Help!!

The cheat codes really are intended for solving problems like replacing missing quest items or jumping to an area when the game crashes during area transitions. Using them to hack in items or gold just ruins the gameplay IMO.

since this game is pretty boring, I just use the cheats to find the quest item and march on to the end of the game.

Boring??? Have you tried it with Heart of WInter AND Trials of the Luremaster? Have you tried it Heart of Fury mode starting with a 1st level party? Have you played solo?

Edit: OOPS read an earlier post and I now know that the answers to the first questions are NO. That might explain why you don't like the game. I totally disagree about the music - i thought the soundtrack was awesome. The voice sets ARE a bit restricted, but NWN's are even WORSE.

If all you're going to do is hack in the quest items and go to the end of the game, why even bother?

the only way icewind dale is boring is when you use the cheats and take the challenge out of the game !!

if you consider the game boring, why do you post here?

Just Limit yourself. Everyday use them less--except ctrl + J,that ones too cool. Cheatorette Gum and Patches [img]smile.gif[/img]
