in chapter 6 after the movie where i get teleported to easthaven, my guy appears and on the message bar it says paused for movie but the game wont unpause, could somebody plz help me

try deleting the contents of your cache folder, and replay from a saved game prior to that ... this is a random bug that does not always repeat itself ...

no it didnt work, but would it matter if i used the same save file but it still froze? or is there something else i could do, because i am starting to get frustrated

Are you playing IWD or IWD/HOW or IWD/HOW/TOL?

Do you have any patches installed? which ones?

What type of installation did you do? full, recommended or minimum?

i have just normal icewind dale, with 1.06 patch. and did u mean empty the override folder, because when i did that it worked.

You emptied the OVERRIDE folder??? oh oh ... WRONG folder. Did you back it up before you emptied it??? You may still be okay.

yah i backed it up, but before when i triede emtying cache, it didnt work. so... i looked through some old posts and it said override, and that worked. thanks anyway micah

hey, i'm having the _exact_ same problem! my cache folder in the IWD folder has only 10 items... do i just delete them into oblivion?

i am using the normal IWD (no extensions) with the 1.06 patch.
