I went through parts of Durlags Tower before but I only went down to the second level. Anyways I thought I knew what I was doing solving the dwarves riddles but I rushed through and now I can't fing a peice of the gong. I have the handle part now I need the other piece. Can anyone tell me where it is?

The mallet head is in a library-ish sort of room at the NE of the level (assuming that the entrance to the level is 'north').
