I hit a button and now my character bar is gone(the one on the right in the main game window) What do i hit to return it to bnormal . Thank you

You accidentally hit a "hot key" -

Here's the commands and hot keys:

U - drops the right hand tool bar (the characters)
Y - drops the left hand tool bar
H - drops the ALL the tool bars including the one at the bottom

just type U again and the tool bar should come back up ...
