I just made up a new party for IWD and I'm playing from scratch. I'm having a problem when my Paladin moves from 1st to 2nd level,My game crashes and says [A Assertion failed in ObjCreature.cpp at line number15890] This does not happen when my other party members went up a level only with my Paladin who is the Leader. Should i just delete him? I've loaded the Patch 1.06 and even deleted the game and reloaded it. Still no Paladin 2nd level. Any Advice whould be handy.

P.S. Thanks for the tip on the lightning room i got tired of dying.

SO if I understand correctly, you are playing a new game after having gone thru the game (at least partly) once already without any trouble?

If that's the case, then it definitely sounds like a corrupted file.

Just to make sure on something though. You said you installed the v1.06 patch. Are you playing ONLY IWD? Or do you have HOW installed also? If you have HOW installed and you patched with the v1.06 patch then THAT is your problem. Installing the v1.06 patch over HOW causes SERIOUS problems.

No i'm just playing IWD I haven't bought HOW yet.
