After playing and beating Icewind Dale 100 times in a row(heh heh they will never know that I've only beat it 6 times)I have found some strange things that others have found.I have found at least 4 and here they are.

#1:Super Squirril The infamous "Super Squirril" has seemed to e the root of all evil by making kids it is a furry rat.Super Squirril or SS as I like to call hime is caused quite a rucas with some gamers.Few say that he can be killed.

#2:Hermit magic The Hermit that comes to you after the avalanch seems to know a bit of magic.People have told me that he is a high level Cleric/mage that has all sorts of damage resistance and has over 1000 hp.If you attack he will just teleport his little idiotic self out.If he is so strong why not make him da ending boss instead of wimpy Behilfet.

#3:Death by rest And the doctors say that rest is good for ya!I had to rest in one of my games so my mage could recharge his spells.I woke up to fin that everyone in the party had died.The Hp meter said -1990245/21.The odd thing though was that my charecter could move around.I attacked a monster as soon as the monster died I died.Are there killer mosquitos in Icewind Dale?

#4Disaperring Items Yes,I load up the Icewind Dale game and find that I have lost all my spell scrolls that my mage was carrying.My fighters had lost thier armor and that was about it.

If anyone has any other odd things in IwD please let me know.

Some answers:

(1) Why would you want to kill a poor defenseless little squirrel anyway?

(2) I've heard the rumours too but haven't been able to verify - but why would you want to kill a poor hermit?

(3) The ONLY time I have heard of that happening is with hacked characters! But it occured on leveling up. Seems the person who hacked the character set the hit points at 2 million (!) and then when his characters levelled, they DIED because the hp buffer overflowed and their hit points all went negative.

(4) Are you using a custom bio? IWD does not react well to customized biographies. Causes wierd things to happen.

I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with mr. super squirril.

Would you attack a hermit that was a possible bounty?

Yes, I had a custem bio
