Welcome Someguy. The door is there for the HoW (Heart of Winter) expansion. You can only open when you install HoW. It is where you meet Hjollder, who then takes you to Lonely Wood, the starting town of HoW. Have fun.

Yes I kept trying every key in the game to find the one that the one that would open that **** door.
