I've just found out that I'm stuck in the Crystal Tower near the end of IWD and can't start the HoW campaign. I need to fin a way to 'transport' my party from the Crystal Tower where Belifet the Demon is to Kuldahar to get supplies and start HoW. I do have DaleKeeper, but don't know what to change or how to use the CLUA console. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

You don't need to do the CLUA jump cheat to do that.

When you enter the last room for the final fight with the end boss in IWD, your characters are autosaved as +IWD1 thru +IWD6. Simply start an expansion only game of IWD/HOW and import those characters and you'll be able to play HOW witout any problem (except that all your containers will be lost).

I meant without actually finishing, and starting HoW and importing my characters. Would actually be nice to just leave the Crystal Tower and go freely anywhere I want since I've already conquered everywhere else. So I am asking how to just modify my saved game in DaleKeeper so that when I start the game again I am in Kuldahar instead of the Crystal Tower.

Sorry, I misunderstood.

Here's the general procedure:

The first step to getting these cheats to work, is to download the latest
patch here:

http://www.interplay.com/icewind/

Use a text editor to edit the "icewind.ini" file in the game directory. Add
the line "Cheats=1" under the "[Game Options]" section. Start the game and
press [Ctrl] + [Tab] to display the console window.

Cheat Codes
Press Ctrl + Tab to display the console window

HoW Note: In Heart of Winter, instead of putting in CHEATERSDOPROSPER
use GETYOURCHEATON.

The specific command you want to move to Kuldahar is:

GETYOURCHEATON:MoveToArea("ARxxxx")

where ARxxxx is the area code for Kuldahar .... I'm not sure of the exact area code but you can find it out by using the L key (I think) which display your co-ordinates including the map area

BTW, I have absolutely NO experience with Dalekeeper at all. The procedure I gave you will let you jump via the cheat codes. SOmeone else will have to clue you in on the Dalekeeper process.

Thank you Micah. I knew it had to be something like that, but I didn't know what the exact command was for it. Now I do. Thanks again!

You're welcome Scooty. Good Luck. [img]smile.gif[/img]

<font color = lightgreen>It would also be possible to edit the final Easthaven map to include an eastern exit back into the Kuldahar Pass. Editing the area may be done with Near Infinity and most likely any TeamBG area editing tool (I don't have those, though).</font>
