can anybody help me with my bard. shes got plenty of spells memorized,but she cant cast them. she can only cast from scrolls for some reason. when i try to use the spells in her mage book, the blocks are dark. why cant she cast them. shes at level 11. do i need the patch fr IOW ?

In order for my bard to cast spells he can't wear any armor. Not even plain leather. :( Doesn't matter though cause he kicks. [img]smile.gif[/img]

No one can cast wizard-spells while wearing armor. Not multi/dual-class Magi, nor Bards. Those spells require intricate movements and gestures, and armor, except Elven Chainmail, is too restrictive. If you want your Bard, or Fighter (or whatever)/Mage to cast spells, make sure he's either wearing Elven Chain, Mage Robes (not for Bards) or nothing at all.
