Hello again,

I went to my profile and entered the url address to my portrait, but when I post it doesn't show. I double checked to make sure the address is correct but still nada.

How do I get a really cool portrait to show like everyone else?

Help please? Micah you out there?
Thanks,
Vix

Make sure that the website that is hosting your pic permits outside linking.

Geocities and Angelfire for example, do not allow it.

Also, didn't you forget the img-tags? If you want to show a pic, you have to put the url inbetween these tags (without the spaces): [ img ] and [ /img ].

Under "my profile" it says the following

Your Picture:
Enter a link to a picture of yourself. This must be a complete URL.

I know the url works because if I copy and paste it into address the picture comes up.

*shrug* I dunno.

I tried your suggestion but it won't let me type in img before the url address.

That part is not displayed in your post, but in your profile page. Click on your profile button to see your Viconia picture. ;)

If you want to display a picture in your post, put it in your signature, and use the [IMG] tags as J'aran said.

Just to add, the [IMG] tags include the square brackets [].

UHHHH I missed one, I feel like such a loser.

Okay how about now, did it work?

Looks like a lady in red. Congratulations on your first successful piece of UBB coding.
