The site that Eric gave you a link to is a good one; but shop around a little, since I have yet to see a walkthrough that gives you all the ways to get quest XP. (I noticed two [2] extremely easy ways to get several thousand XP in the Prologue that are not mentioned in the link Eric posted.)

Go to www.google.com and select the "advanced search" page. Then search for pages that have all the words walkthrough; *and* the exact phrase icewind dale. Shouldn't be too long before you're swimming in walkthroughs. If you want even more, stay in Google's advanced search and go for pages that have all the words icewind dale; *and* the exact phrase walk through. It worked for me...

The BEST walkthroughs I have found are those put together by Dan Simpson and can be found on the GAMEFAQS website. They are EXTREMELY detailed and list virtually every quest available, as well as guidelines for dialogue strings that may be stat dependent. The only drawback is that they are text only. The maps located here on the ironworks website are actually some of the best I have seen and coupled with Dan's walkthroughs should be able to get you through virtually ANY rough spot. www.gamespot.com has really good walkthrus for most games, incl IWD, HoW, BG, PsT (and skads more). They also have pretty good maps. I just dl to the hd and can then call them up as needed.

You know, i hate to refresh my own memory, but i spent quite a long time getting my Invoker Mage ready to start there, and lost it all cause of that one lousy wolf! shoulda saved earlier...
