When I leveled up and I try to put a 4th proficiency into Bows for my Fighter, I am not allowed to... why?

I can't remember where I read it, but IWD limits proficiencies in ranged weapons (bows, crossbows, and slings) to Mastery (3 *'s). :(

Damn... looks like I might as well use a Ranger to be my Archer then... ...

Definately not in BG2 since one can obtain grandmastery with the bow, and AFAIK, the same applies in BG1 (although this isn't possible with a 'capped' game), so the mastery restriction only applies to IWD/HoW [img]smile.gif[/img] |
