You need to go inside and attend his corination ceremony. I don't remember but you may need some sort of invitation to get in.

Oops. Just read your other post! Don't know what to say other than make sure you have the lastest version of the game..

You should carry the invitation, the diary and your party to the corination. Maybe trying to go to the topfloor on Iron Throne first and killing his lady? and whatabout going to the undercellar to kill his assasins? Hope I helped you
