Here's what I created to start:
Paladin (**Longswords and **axes so he has a ranged weapon and can use a shield) Fighter (**Greatswords and **xbows) Fighter to dual to cleric at Level 3 (**maces, *hammers, and *sling) Fighter/Druid (**Staff, *scimitar, *missle (probably darts)) Mage (missle, darts) Fighter/Thief (**Bow, **shortsword) With the spread, I have pretty much every weapon covered except for Spears and Halberds. Furthermore, I have every class covered except for bards. The only problem with this set up, I have three people using missle weapons, and only two bowmen (I'd rather have it the other way around). Furthermore, one of my bowmen is using xbows, which has a slower rate of fire than a regular bow. Granted, I know that these things happen when trying to cover all the bases, but does anyone have any tips to improve this party? thanks. |
To tell ye the truth that party seem to be quite a strong one. If I were you I'd just go ahead with it.

Or you could change your Fighter-Thief to a Mage-Thief instead and use the new position for a Bard which would let you keep the Druid around. As for your weapon profs, you might want to give your Paladin some points in a blunt weapon (flail) to use on undead monsters. Otherwise, your party looks well rounded and solid.
