Is there any magic stores that sell scrolls, wands, or robes? If so I haven't run into any yet, but I'm not that far at all.

AFAIK there are only 2 major stores:

1. West of Beregost, at a place called High Hedge. Home to a mage called Thanlantyr (or something like that), sells spell scrolls up to level 4.

2. Sorcerous Sundries in the city of BG itself. It's located in the first section of the city when you enter it.

They also have many potions to boost your stats while you are still weak.

Thalantyr's place is guarded by the flesh golems though. Never went there because i didn't want to bother fighting them with a low level party. Easier just to wait until BG. You find enough scrolls on bodies. [img]smile.gif[/img]

If as soon as you run into High Hedge and immediatly run to Thalantyr and talk to him and his golems will turn to blue and they won't bother youas long as you don't atack them.

[img]graemlins/pimpser.gif[/img] The flesh golems were easy just send in two fighters with slashing or clubbing weapons.

I sent everyone in with my best swords and they still got chopped to bits.

The nasty thing about Flesh Golems is their THAC0 is so low, just about every attack will hit you, and they have just enough hitpoints to kill 1 or 2 Tanks before they die. Use ranged weapons, or drink an Oil of Speed and Backstab.
