I know this has been covered, and i don't want to beat a dead horse, but does it make more sense to complete how and totlm prior to completing iwd. I finished chapter four and i'd like to go back to seldarine anyways, so does it make sense to pursue those other two adventures now? (Of course i need to find and buy how first!)

Generally, I would say YES - complete HOW and TotLM first and then go back to finish IWD. In fact, this is what I did:

Did IWD thru Lower Dorns Deep including Perdiem EXCEPT RBP!

Went back to Kuldahar and started HOW,

went about halfway thru HOW but did NOT start the Sea of Moving Ice

Did ALL of TotLM
returned to Lonelywood
finished HOW
went back to Kuldahar and finished IWD

If you want to do TotLM, then do not go to the sea of moving ice before you initiate TotLM. There is NOT way back to Lonelywood from there .... and TotLM is initiated in Lonelywood!
