What level would you recomend your characters attain before heading into HoW and ToTL?

I havent Yet downlaoded Totl, any one tell me where to get it? Ok HOW says you should be at least on the nonth level. Ive transfered my chars from IWD at the fourteenth level and i still had a rough time in the beginning. hope this helps

When you first talk to Hjolldar, the game won't even let you into the HOW areas unless you are 9th level or better. I would recommend completing IWD all the way through the last encounter in Lower Dorns Deep before you confront RBP. (That is - once you get the sixth badge STOP and then head off to talk to Hjolldar and start HOW).
