I'm ploughing through Dragon's Eye right now, and have cleared out level 1 and half of level 2. Man, is this dungeon tough of what! Scads of monsters everywhere that do some *serious* damage when they connect. It seems that every few steps I take I bump into a few more monsters.

I managed to find a safe place on the entry level to rest - that's the cul-de-sac right at the SW corner of the map. So far, resting there I have not been interrupted by monsters.

The only problem is that it's a pretty long walk from other levels just to go back to that particular place. Does anyone have any other spots where a weary and bloodied party can find rest, especially on the other levels?

No spoilers pls, thanks.

On Level 2, after you've cleared out the large room on the west side (with all the trolls and Talona priests) you'll encounter the missing priestess of Ilmater from Kuldahar. She will watch over your party while you sleep and you can rest there undisturbed. Later, you can find her near the exit to level 3 and repeat (especially when you're going through Level 3 and need a safe place to rest.

Cheers,

I usually try to rest at the beginning of a new lvl. Quick save
and see what happens if you dont like the result try until you do.
Good hunting
