I need help in the fight in the Iron Throne building in Baldur's Gate. The fight where emissary Tar is as well. Have you guys got any advice? Thanks!

fireballs from wands and potion of explotions times 6 (from each of your partymembers). This will kill or seriously injure most of the baddies - and take the stairs to the right when go up

- haste - protection from evil - ect on your party

and have mage in the rear who has cast mirror image since he/she will be closest to the enemy when you reach the top floor

Equip your mage with a couple of wands of fire or memorise your fireball spell, cast invisability on him/her and then just send the mage upstairs, go right past the party and down the corridor and out of their view, keep casting fireball untill they are charcoal, works everytime and you don't take a scratch !

If I remember correctly some of the guys use an invisible spell so have an invisiblity purge spell or whatever it is to dispell it. They aren't too strong in close combat. Have some dispells memorized because they charm you and just shoot arrows bolts and some offensive spells.
