I seem to have missed a turn in Dorn's deep. I left the area before
I visited the hermit and then returned when I found out about him in
the walk through. Now he thinks I am returning to talk to him the
second time and doesn't offer me the secret to the lower levels. Do
I need to start the area over or can some kind soul impart the secret
to me?

If it is a secret it isn't all that usefull. He just tells you the entrance to the inner chambers of Dorn's deep, which you can find yourself.

So I'm not the only one that experienced this then? I had some of the guys help me out on that one. I knew that there was some use for a certain item, but couldn't find out where it was. Stupid really, as all that was required was looking at the [i]Fog[i] on the map.

It took me aback. That chap was rather rude.
