I recently purchased Icewind Dale, and I've tried to get the Cheats to work. I know I'm editing the .ini file correctly, because I've done the same thing with BG 1 & 2. For some reason, the console window won't appear to allow me to type in the various commands. What's this Vs 1.05 I hear about? Is it different than the game I bought in the store, and if so, where can I get the update? Is this what's causing the Cheats trouble? Thanks for any help...

I am having some problems with the cheats myself, however my problem is different to yours. You need version 1.05 to be able to use the cheats as before this they were desabled.you should be able to download the latest patch (1.14) from this site. I myself got it from one of my PCGAMER DVD's. whem you have got this patch it suould work ok. ( make sure to enable cheats in the Config program as well.)

Version 1.14 is the latest version if you also have Heart of Winter installed.

As I found out recently, one of the patch versions changes the cheat command from 'CHEATERSDOPROSPER' to 'GETYOURCHEATON'. I think that's only if you
install HoW and the 1.41 patch though.
