Hello,
I am in Dragon's Eye, 3rd cavern. I am faced with all locked doors and I do not have a thief. I tried getting the "knock" spell, but the wizard does not sell it now. I have a paladin, fighter, fighter/cleric, mage, ranger, and druid. I hope someone can help me.

Have you tried forceing the doors w/ an attack ?

As far as I remember you are going to come across a lot of locked doors on the lower levels of Dragons Eye. Unless you have a Thief you are going to really struggle.

One thought, although its technically cheating, try downloading the latest copy of dalekeeper found in the IWD section at Ironworks. If you can avoid the temptation to edit all your characters stats, it does allow you to modify mages spellbooks. If you use this to get a knock spell for your mages then at least you won't have to re-do everything you have accomplished so far.

Without a way of diarming traps later in Dragons eye - and the rest of the game - I think you progress will be very painful and slow, as a lot of them are set in tough combat areas. Long term this may be a bigger problem for you than locked doors!!!
