those creature that keep been generated dwon buy the monilith rocks, is there a way to stop them? did i do this by killing the mages by them?

THEY ARE A REAL PAIN AND CLOG UP SOME PRETTY GOOD BATTLES, seem to cause me to loose char. by grizzly deaths!

any help would be appreciated.
