Hello everybody. I played icewind dale halfway through last year sometime and recently started playing it again. I just got past the 2nd level of dragons eye but from when i first played i was sure u got the boots of speed from the lizard king area, but i just can't find them. Csn someone pleeeze tell me where they are.

Some treasures are random, you dont always get the boots. However you can do the battle again and see if they come up.

I played this, got the boots and saved, then lost that save and went back to an earlier save and got something else totally worthless!

After replaying 3 times I got the boots again! It's not that bad and it's less cheaty that using a "keeper"

I found the Boots of Speed in the Severed Hand on Kaylessa, the weapons master, on the first floor of Sheverash Tower.

yeah, er.. these "boots of speed" in Dragon's eye are actually "boots of the fox" whicxh grant +1 ac and +40% to movement rate... so it's like being hasted
