For as far as you can call any IwD portrait awesome... You're right.
I like the new portraits from ToB much better: Saravok is alive and his portrait is eeeevil....

I personally imported the portraits and sounds from Planescape: Torment for use with IWD. I'm using Vhailors portrait and voice as my paladin now, and he looks sooooo cool.
