So far in the game I have only been able to find 2 suits of full plate mail. I know you can buy a one in Beregost and a guy at the Bandit Camp has one on but that is all I can find. Does anyone know where there is another suit of it?

What about the Ankheg plate that Taeron makes? Is it Full Plate or normal plate? I think I read somewhere that it was plate +1?

The Ankeg is magical but I don't want magical armor so i can put a ring or cloak of protection on my guys

+1 or an +2 full plate is always a better choice because it saves a slot for ring. For example,

Full plate gives ac 1. with a cloak +1. you got ac 0.
if you have a full plate +1. you cant equip cloak but anyway you dont really need it. you alrady got ac 0. and you got a free ring slot. equip a fire res or something you desire..

Yea but with the armor you don't get saving throws you get witha ring +2/ my plans are to put ring of fire resistance, ring of protection +2 and for a cloak Baldurans with his helm too.

There IS another suit of unenchanted Full Plate, but it requires ToSC. It's in Durlag's Tower, naturally.

Intimadater you have the right idea. When ever i have played the game with my main character as a fighter, I have him equipped with full plate mail, ring of protection +2, Helm of Glory, Golden Girdle, Cloak of displacement, and of course the spider's bane, or the world's edge depending on the fight. With all this equipped you will have an AC of -6. If you want to go even lower try potions of defense/invulnarability to get down even lower. Defensive Harmony combined with that can get you to -9!
