i just iwd but my problem is im used to playing games like diablo im not used to games like iwd yet the monsters kill me in a second any one got any advice?

I'd configure it to auto-pause for starters. That will pause the game when any enemies are spotted. Then you can decide what your characters will do at your leisure.Also try using missile weapons, especially at lower levels. When they get near switch your fighters to melee weapons. Try spells that hamper movement to. That is if you have them. Grease is a 1st level mage spell so if you made a mage it might be good to give him/her that from the beginning. If you have a druid, use entangle. A 1st level druid spell.
