Sorry if this has been answered a lot before, but I checked the last 20 days and couldn't find it.

My characters now range from level 8-9 and I am in the Severed Hand castle. Should I wait a bit to build up more power, or can I start HoW now and give my characters a boost before continuing with the Severed Hand?

finish the severed hand.. in fact, get into dorn's deep and gain some exp and magic items. you really don't want to hit HoW with lower than level 10 .. you might want them as high as 13 or so

BTW, the best way to find a particular topic is to press the word 'search' on the top right of the forum, then key in the words of the search. For this one, you should maybe key in something like 'When to start HOW?'
