I was on my first time through chapter six and cleared the room with the icon in it. I didnt know it at first but I was supposed to get the 6th badge from the priest who is right near by. Well somehow I didnt get it and at first I wasnt sure I would get one there(I tend to skip long speeches, Im so impatient).

So anyway Ive got all the badges except that sixth one and I cant get up those stairs to what I guess is supposed to be the end. Is there any way I can get up there? I have the unpatched version of IWD and wouldnt mind installing a trainer just to get up there, I dont think theres any other way. Any ideas?

Just download the DaleKeeper... (you get it from the cheat section, hehe)
I dont' think there is another way up/in.....

<font color="plum">Being that it is a required element in the game, it should not dissapear from the ground. Many people have missed that one, and gone back to find it. Are you saying that it is impossible to go searching the ground for it? I myself had to search awhile for it, after the dude's body had disappeared.</font color>

If you have HoW installed, hold down the "alt" key while searching the room. Anything to be grabbed will light up.

Im afraid i dont have HoW installed. Ive looked all over for it on the ground immediately around the priest, who is very much alive. Ive tried killing him but he drops nothing.

Zed, sadly to say, sounds like you're stuck.

you have an unpatched version of IWD? well, one of the things addressed in the patch was the "rotting" of items, especially important items like that badge. what happened is, you missed the badge and left the room and probably rested or left for town? after so many hours, the badge just rotted away like every other item does. theoreticly, with the patch this would not have happened. but what's done is done. try loading a previous game ::shrug::
you may also get a cheat code to create the badge again.

If you can not find the badge just download DaleKeeper and use it to get the badge.

I got Dalekeeper like some of you suggested. I was easier to use than i thought, and just gave my guy the badge. Thanks for the suggestions! I thought I was going to have to start ALL over again.
