trying to use the lever (yes, I finally found it after a LONG search) but I dont have what is needed to use it. I am guessing that it is found off one of the passages either to the NE or the sE. Question is, how do I get thru THOSE doors?

You will need to make sure that you have all of the tomb keys. My first time through, I forgot the one in the Yeti cave on the main map outside the tomb.

It sounds like you are missing one of the keys from within the tomb. Check all of the passages for doorways and such. If you still don't find it, post a reply with a list of the keys you have and the corridors you have explored and someone can tell you exactly which one you missed and where it is.

In order to pull that level you need to have Wolf talisman (which is a darn good item anyway)

And if I remember correctly the wolf paw is off the final passage to the deep area. The passage goes in a roughly V shape, and the room is close to the point of the V.

Ok, I figured it out. Thanks for the reply's. I went back and picked up the old suit of armor that I had dropped earlier and I was able to get thru the two locked doors and get the talisman. I had all three keys the whole time. Wierd.
