I think I messed things up. I beat Yxonomei, quickly do a save-rest-save, and the body of Yxonomei is gone, and the Heartstone with it!

Do I have to beat her all over again?

CHEATERSDOPROSPER:CreateItem("HEARTGM") took care of the problem, but it feels wrong that I had to cheat to win the game... even if I was entitled to the gem...

Yeah, I had the same thing happen to me, but luckily I had a saved game from just before I beat her. Actually, the gem is still there. The bodies always disappear after you rest, but the gem should still be there where the body was. However, it's very hard to see, and you might need to squint a bit.
