I went all the way through the area and spoke with Shadow guy in the
final crypt. He has told me that he won't tell me the name of who is
causing the troubles unless I kill someone named Lysan (sp.) The
question is - where is she? Any help would be appreciated.

She's in the cave in Vale of Shadows with the yetis. However, unless you commit to dealing with the problem (at which time Kresseleck will say that he senses her in the Vale of Shadows even now), she won't be there.

Interesting. I told him that I would do it, but with hesitation
(I am playing a good party with a paladin as lead character). I went
into the cave a toasted all of the Yetis but did not find her. I
guess I had better go back and speak with Kresseleck again. Thanks
for the info.

Once she has been dealt with, don't forget to ask the innkeeper about her!
