I just finished the IWD (non-expanded) game with my second party of choice. I wanted a half-elf cleric/ranger and had one till I reached level 8 cleric/7 ranger. When I tried to level up at this point I got what looked like an ObjectInsertion error and the game crashed. I moved everything off this character and then I deleted everything she had and still got the error.

So, I had an open slot and made a new character, transferred items and deleted the old one. I plugged in the experience points and went to level up and got the very same error again! I just happened to have had another character level at the very same time and that one when through without issue.

I came here and the IWD main site to see if this was a "common" error but I haven't found anything yet. If fact, it would appear that others have played this class without any problems.

Running v1.06 and 3D is off if that matters but I've a feeling that isn't the problem. I guess the last thing to try is a brand new game with one character and level her up again to see if I get the error again.
