I'm encountering a wierd situation on Burial Isle. When the Barrow Wights and Shamans drop their treasure sacks, it seems like nothing is in them, but when I click on a slot, it seems like I get something and the sack disappears. Is something odd going on with my graphics or do they have "invisible" treasure? Strange question, I know. Never seen that before in any of the Black Isle games.

Guess I just need validation of whether or not the wights drop treasure.

I remember that the wights drop those furs don't they??? YOu can sell them to the priest in Lonely wood. The other monsters occasionally drop a gem or two...nothing major...If you see a treasure sack, and nothing is in them, your game must be glitching...because I always obtained "visible" treasure from them...nothing of importance though...(I already had enough loot)...

Thanks for the reply. Game must be glitching, because I don't "seem" to get anything from any of the creatures I've killed (though I know I've picked up something).

I presume you've tried rebooting etc? I remember I got this problem once in BGI but when I rebooted everything was fine again, much to my relief. You're not missing out on anything major aside from a spot'o'gold.

I remember once when I was playing BGII i thought that this was happening again as I couldn't see the item I picked up- but then I happened to go to my inventory and saw the tooltip display 'beetles'!! Did anyone else uncover these almost invisible little fella's?
