I got minsc. simple.
he wants dynaheir. simple.
I'll just wait until i've done the N. mines..

But before i could he turned nasty cause i hadnt saved her yet.
so i loaded a very recent save,
kicked minsc out,
rescued the girl,
and then got minsc back in.

But even though dynaheir is now here,
he still goes nasty.

Anyone know how to solve this?
There must be a variable controling how long it is until minsc goes nasty or something.
Any ideas?

Might possibly be a bug in the game but what it sounds like is that you once had him, gave him the good-bye, saved Dynaheir, and because he was recently in the party and you kicked him out he's still complaining. Once before I had saved Dynaheir before talking to Minsc and Minsc went on about he was happy but felt unworthy cause he wasn't able to rescue her himself yadda yadda. Of course Edwin had some choice words to share when we passed him on the bridge. Regardless I am unsure how to "solve" the problem but one solution would be after you drop Minsc, deal with the mines, return to Minsc and take him with you to the Stronghold with all haste! Once you reach the stronghold he should be calm and not go squirrelly on you. Just an idea.

Or you could hold a gun to Boo's head and order Minsc to "Behave or the rat gets it!"

i don't want to insult your intelligence or anything, but how is your reputation doing? i'm assuming that you are new to the game since you are both new to the forum and still at the naskell mines. so i'm guessing that you maybe don't realize the importance of reputation. and this is possibly the reason why minsc is going berserk, and not because of dynaheir. or i could be wrong and its just a bug like mellagar mentioned.

First off, he's a MINATURE GIANT SPACE HAMSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Second off, you could not kill Boo even if you tried. There are just to many Boo bodyguards.

Try this see what happens- get minsc, then kick out dynaheir. then, reinvite Dynaheir. Maybe he is clued in to "stay" by her "joining" the group...

I had dropped Kivan for Xan and was heading for the Gnolls when he went berserk on me. I just killed him, but I couldn't find Boo. Went back and got Kivan again and forgot Dynaheir for the meantime.

Evergreene's idea shows promise, but I think the most reliable way is to simply find your oldest save and haul ass to that Stronghold, stopping for nothing. Of course, you still might not have time.

This whole thread is unfortunate, as Minsc usually leaves you a great big chunk of time before his patience finally runs out. In the last game I played for speed, I got Minsc, did the Nashkel Mines, did the essential parts of Chapter 3, got Coran, completed Coran's quest, and was 1 map away from the Gnoll Stronghold before Minsc jumped up with his "You take too long! We must go now or you are a coward!"
