If a dwarf reaches Constitution 20 with the Tome of Constitution, will my character be able to regenerate as per the AD&D rules?

Yes, I think so. Altho' I can't remmber whether it's CON 20 or 21.
I had Kagain in my party for a while, and he regenerated.

It is CON=20 - so if you start with 19 you'll get a regenerating dwarf - not a bad thing [img]smile.gif[/img]

Isn't it great? Any Dwarf with 20 or more constitution will regenerate HP. I just recently had Arkanis in my party, so I gave him the Tome so that he, like Kegain, could do this.

Being Dwarven isn't a factor--ANYbody with 20 CON will regenerate (1 hp every 6 turns, or something like that). It's just that Dwarves are the only race who can legally reach 20 in BG1. I don't know if a CON higher than 20 makes you regenerate faster.

Yes it does. I think the Con table in the manual gives the numbers.

Where do you get the Tome of Constition? i got the "charisma" one - what a waste of time

Tome of CON can be found in a cave on the Lighthuse map (just follow the coast - it can be a bit hard to find.)
