I have heard about this quest, I got the poor lad's body, and I forgot where the father lives! Please, help.

I firmly believe (emphasis on "believe") he is in one of the houses just north of the Hall of Wonders and the Lady's House (central western Baldur's Gate)--I could be wrong. It IS in the west, either in the central western map or the southwestern map. Happy hunting!
