how do druid's measure up to clerics? do you think they are more or less usefull and why.

As crazy as it may sound, I have a cleric, but never use those defense spells,,,it is not my way of battle. I usually just rush right in and take a little damage to dish out alot. (Classic Fire-style fighting, if you know that terminology)

Druids are much more offensive than Clerics, and give up the cool defensive spells for offense, like Static Charge and Sol's Searing Orb. They can aid as a second mage with healing abilities if needed. But like I said, you lose the cool defensive spells like Protection from Evil 10 ft and Defensive Harmony. It depends on your playing style. I like em both, and find different used for each.
