I bought IWD last week (I've been playing BG since it came out), so naturally I looked for the latest patch. I downloaded the 1.06 patch, made the modifications to the .ini file, but the cheat codes don't work, every time I enter a code of any sort, it says 'nice try cheater!' I was looking for something addresssing this on all the pages, but I found nothing. I guess the 1.05 enabled cheats, so would I have to download that as well? If so, I'm apparently screwed, since I've been trying for the last 2 days to get the patch, and I get file not found every time (from the interplay server). Well, any thoughts? Thanks

Get the IWD editor, you can pretty much do everything from there, as in modify your savegames, exp, gold, str, dex, thief ability, anything at all.

For items you'll need the VB6 file as well as the IWD character editor, export, modify, import. (you can add any item you like to inventory from there)
