I saw one of the posts about ranks, what is a rank?

It's like what's posted under your name when you post. "Elite Waterdeep Guard" is a rank. "Red Wizard of Thay" is another one. It's just a measure of how often the person in question has posted on the IW board.

It's not a measure of seniority or anything like that, so don't take it too seriously. It confers no advantages or perks or anything.

Yes, the highest rank is 'The Dreadnoks' and is currently only held by Cloudbringer and Nebuchadnezzar.
