Getting (?) the Arundel imposter in Kuldahar had no effect on the final battle. Curious thing though, after I placed the badges in their places in the tower, I still had three left. Everything worked out okay. It did take me three tries to win the final battle - third time I just threw everything I had at Poquiene, kept drinking my potions and hung in there.
