you will have to click three stones in the right order to reveal a stairway going down. one on the outer edge, then middle, then innermost. if you step on the wrong one a lightind bolt will be set off (prot. from lighting might help) this will reset the puzzle also. the first stone looks like a forge or hammer, you will hear a click; then the middle stone looks like a x; the innermost a figure 8. then go out of the room where you came in, one of the statues looks odd his weapon is a lever pull this to hear a click. then go back into room to see the stairway.
