ok I have played baldurs gate 1 and 2
I hear that this game should be a lot like them.
so could some one just give me some opinions.
Is it a good game to buy?

I think it's better than BG1 and 2, personally. It's a lot of fun, great graphics, and has some big bad giants in it.

IWD is alot more hack n slash oriented(less story more gory) than the BG series. They are all equal, yet different to me.
