The Cryshal (from "Crystal Shard") Sentries die when Pomab dies. Until then they regenerate like trolls, except that there's no way to finish them off. Typically, people ignore the sentries as much as possible and concentrate on Pomab -- although that's by no means the only way.

BG2 is due mid-September. I've seen both Sept 14 and Sept 15. I presume that even if it gets delayed at this point it won't be for long. They aren't adding anything new now. At worst, they're trying to get working what they have.

I killed those things easily! They all attacked one person so I cast Otilukes Resilient Sphere on my guy and let the rest of the part hack their butts to the ground! The only problem I had was Poonjab who used lightning but I killed him too.

It's not a bad idea to drink potions of electrical immunity before getting to this stage. Cheers
