Not that I'm emtionally attached to my BG/TOSC characters, but does anyone know if they can be imported into the Icewind Dale world? (just curious).
Also, are there any new character classes or races?

Axe: I don't know about classes or races but according to BioWare you won't be able to import because they changed some features.
You can, however, import BG characters into Neverwinter Nights.
(Like my army of veteran Moggls )

Sorry, but there will be no new races and classes in IWD. In BG2, however, the Half-Orc is added to the races you can choose. Also all of the existing classes can pick kits (specialisations). There might be added a few new classes in that game too: Monk and Barbarian perhaps...
