Good God, how many hit points does this freak have? I hammered away at him for a good 2 minutes at least. Does anybody know his basic hitpoints, on normal difficulty? I'm sure Six would know, if only he see's this...

Release him when he is in ice form and cook him with the spell fire arrow..
When he is ice form he is weak to fire..

I think he has about 300 hitpoints . . . plus tons of immunities and 99% Resistance to all forms of Physical damage, which is why "hammering away at him" isn't exactly the best way to go.

I know all of his weaknessess, I released him in red bodied demon form. I threw a couple ice spells at him, the game is quite defficient in that regard, they didn't do much damage to him. Also, I had my main fighter (assasin actually) equiped with ice pick (the weapon of Gromnir) in his main hand and Celestial Fury to stun him. The rest of my party blasted him with ranged weapons.

It must have been his resistances that kept him around so long. Although, I think I only took a couple points of damage from him as I kept casting stone skin from a bunch of scrolls I have.

Yes. Elemental weaknesses be damned. Just Harm it and spit for a win in two rounds or less.

LOL, I remember hearing that this was such a tough fight before I got there (and it certainly is, if you don't have Time Stop), but the first time I faced him was with a very powerful Sorcerer, I used Time Stop, Improved Alacraty, and just enleashed my whole repitoire on him.
